Billionaire Rebellion is the new project of Amsterdam based singer/songwriter/producer Jeroen den Hengst, who has been active mainline the rock and surf genres. However, in sentimental or contemplated moods ecstatic love-and dance songs flow from his pen onto the DS’s to the delight of a growing number of fans from all over the world. (Including Sweden).
‘Lost in You’ was the song that introduced the world to Billionaire Rebellion. Released in 2022, the song picked up some energy in the Netherlands and the time soon came to go back to the studio for a followup. ‘Like it Like That’ caused the ‘band’ to hunker down for the long haul.
‘Stay With Me’ came out in early 2023 and it climbed the ladder of popularity. Destined to be a ‘singles band’ Billionaire Rebellion may be stingy with their output, but always willing to please when the fervour dies down from the prior single release.
‘(heaven seems) So Close’ is the latest example of smooth pop with a bit of a bite. It came out in late 2023 and Billionaire Rebellion are in market for more fun in 2024.
